Tokyo x Mexican Craft Meets Social Contribution
WOVEN, a Tokyo-based, Mexico-made mercado bag brand, will begin an initiative starting in the 2026 Spring/Summer season to donate a portion of sales from its cat-motif products to support rescue dog and cat welfare activities.
Under this initiative, 3% of sales from cat-motif products will be donated to the NPO 'ALMA / ALMA Tokyo Tier Heim,' an organization dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of dogs and cats, to support their life-saving efforts.
New Value Created from the Rapidly Growing Cat-Motif Series

Since last year, WOVEN has been developing cat-motif items that combine playfulness and design, such as cat-face bags, bag fur covers, and cat-shaped drawstring pouches.
Supported by their unique design and practicality, these items have become a rapidly growing category within the brand, with popular colors selling out immediately.
In response to this positive reception, this project was launched with the desire to 'contribute to society through everyday fashion.'
Details of Support
Donations collected through this initiative will be given to the NPO ALMA / ALMA Tokyo Tier Heim and used for the following purposes:
・Medical expenses for rescue dogs and cats
・Vaccination costs
・Care and environmental maintenance costs
・Operational costs related to rehoming activities
The organization provides rescue, care, and rehoming services for dogs and cats that have lost their homes due to issues such as hoarding, owner hospitalization, or aging.
Many dogs and cats are currently waiting to meet their new families, and this initiative will be used to support the efforts to connect these lives to new homes.
