Fifteen years have passed since the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. Guided by our management philosophy of "closeness to life and living, and realizing coexistence with the Earth," Earth Corporation has consistently engaged in disaster area support and disaster prevention awareness initiatives. The play is based on the novel of the same name by the late screenwriter Makiko Uchidate, who passed away at the end of last year. It depicts a young man who lost his family in the disaster and his journey to move forward while carrying his loss and finding strength through bonds with those around him. The play's mission to "pass on the preciousness of life and family bonds to the next generation" resonates deeply with our corporate philosophy, leading to our decision to sponsor this production. Through our support, we aim to help carry the lessons of the earthquake into the future and contribute to the creation of a prosperous and compassionate society.
