Earth Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Katsunori Kawabata, hereinafter "Earth Pharmaceutical") has participated in an industry-academia collaborative awareness project with university seminars, aimed at improving the physical and mental health and self-care awareness of young people. In collaboration with Professor Junya Ishibuchi of Kwansei Gakuin University's School of Business Administration and his seminar students, the company will research and implement initiatives to promote self-care through "bathing." As the culmination of this effort, an awareness booth, planned and operated primarily by students in cooperation with the company, will be exhibited at "KANSAI COLLECTION 2026 SPRING & SUMMER" to be held at Kyocera Dome Osaka on Sunday, April 5, 2026.
In recent years, an behavior called "bath cancellation crowd," where people go to bed without taking a bath or shower due to fatigue, stress, or hassle, has become a hot topic on social media. To address this, the project aims to "cancel bath cancellation" and "increase bath additive usage," with students devising promotional plans from a youth perspective. The goal is to encourage an increase in bathing frequency itself and support customers' healthy bath life.

An "industry-academia collaboration class" was opened in the latter half of the university year. Our company participated in the class as a guest lecturer, presenting the company's health issues and giving a lecture.
**November 2025 - February 2026**
Students formulated product research and promotion plans in a team competition, and the implementation plan was decided after a final review of a four-team planning competition.
**April 5, 2026**
An awareness booth, jointly operated by students and the company, will be exhibited at "KANSAI COLLECTION 2026 SPRING & SUMMER" to conduct awareness activities for visitors.

**1. "Bath Type Diagnosis" and "Common Scenarios" Panel Display in Kansai Auntie's Dialect**
Based on questions about visitors' lifestyles, three bath types—"Quick Type," "Whimsical Type," and "Thorough Type"—will be diagnosed. Additionally, "common scenarios when you're glad you took a bath" for each type will be displayed in the "Kansai Auntie's Dialect," providing an opportunity for visitors to feel "bathing might be good."
**2. Exhibition of Total Care Bath Additive 'OFFROM' and Gift Campaign**
The 'OFFROM Slowly Tablet' bath additive, recommended for the night before important occasions, will be exhibited, with a corner to experience its scent. To encourage bathing after returning home, visitors to the booth will receive a "message card" that reveals text when floated in hot water. Furthermore, in conjunction with social media (X, Instagram), a campaign will be offered to those who follow the official account or repost designated posts, where they can receive a bath additive as a gift.
