The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and e-Mobility Power Inc. (President and CEO: Kotaro Ikegame, hereinafter referred to as "the Company") will open a new public road charging station equipped with two EV fast chargers in the vicinity of Kami-Osaki, Shinagawa Ward, and will commence services from 10:00 AM on March 30, 2026.
The opening of this public road charging station will further expand the options for charging locations in the city center, making it possible for EV and PHEV users to utilize fast chargers more conveniently.
The Company has concluded an "Implementation Agreement for the Installation of EV Chargers on Public Roads" with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and has been working to expand the adoption of EV chargers within Tokyo as one of its initiatives to achieve "Zero Emission Tokyo," contributing to "net-zero CO2 emissions by 2050."
Furthermore, we have received requests from many EV and PHEV users to "increase the number of EV fast-charging spots in the city center" and "further develop public road charging stations."
In response to these requests, and to further improve charging convenience in the city center, we have decided to open a public road charging station in the vicinity of Kami-Osaki, Shinagawa Ward.
The Company will continue to expand charging stations with various stakeholders and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society by providing highly convenient charging services.
