e-dash Awarded 'CO2 Emission Visualization Support' and 'SME SBT Certification Support' Projects by Iida City, Nagano Prefecture

e-dash Inc. has been awarded two projects by Iida City, Nagano Prefecture: the 'CO2 Emission Visualization Support Project' and the 'SME SBT Certification Support Project.' Following last year's initiative, the company will support approximately 20 local SMEs in visualizing and reducing CO2 emissions using the 'e-dash' platform. Additionally, this year, the company will provide support for obtaining SME-version SBT certification to maintain and strengthen competitiveness within the supply chain. Iida City declared its '2050 Iida Zero Carbon City' goal in 2021, aiming for net-zero CO2 emissions by 2050. In 2022, it was selected as a 'Decarbonization Leading Area' by the Ministry of the Environment. Since business activities account for approximately 40% of the city's total CO2 emissions, transitioning local companies to decarbonized management is a critical challenge. This year, the city has established a new project to promote the acquisition of SME-version SBT certification alongside the ongoing visualization project. Participating companies can receive these services for free until the end of February 2027. Applications open on June 10, 2026.
