DXYZ's Facial Recognition ID Platform 'FreeiD' to Be Introduced at Condominium 'Connect Garden Hiroshima Girin'

DXYZ Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Sei Nakanishi; hereinafter 'DXYZ') announces the decision to introduce its facial recognition ID platform 'FreeiD' at 'Connect Garden Hiroshima Girin' (hereinafter 'the property'), a condominium developed by Marimo Co., Ltd. (hereinafter 'Marimo').

The property is being constructed on the former site of AEON Mall Hiroshima Girin (Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture) and is scheduled for completion in late March 2028.

Introduction of FreeiD at Connect Garden Hiroshima Girin

DXYZ aims to realize its vision of 'making it ordinary to live, work, and play with just your face' by seamlessly connecting residents' daily routines with commercial services through FreeiD. The goal is to create a new lifestyle experience that combines convenience and security, allowing residents to live without keys or wallets—just their face.

For this project, DXYZ will install the FreeiD facial recognition ID platform at six locations: vestibules, trash storage areas, sub-entrances, the Connect Lounge, and other doorways. This provides the convenience of access even when hands are full, while ensuring high security through cutting-edge facial recognition technology, meeting diverse customer needs.

About the Facial Recognition ID Platform 'FreeiD'

FreeiD is a facial recognition ID platform that connects living, working, and playing through facial authentication alone. By integrating all forms of ID—such as wallets and identification documents—into the face, FreeiD enables access, payments, and identity verification with just a single facial registration, realizing the concept of 'Connecting the world with just your face.®'

FreeiD can integrate with various facial recognition AI systems, enabling the optimal AI solution for each use case.

The 'FreeiD Condominium' solution for multi-unit housing enables Japan's first 'All-Facial-Recognition Condominium®', where no keys are required from shared areas like entrances and elevators to individual private units, realizing 'Living with just your face.' As of the end of May 2026, FreeiD has been introduced in 398 completed buildings.

In addition to condominiums, FreeiD services are deployed in offices, childcare centers, golf courses, and theme parks. In office services, DXYZ enables 'Working with just your face' by using facial recognition for employee entry/exit and visitor registration, supporting office operations without employee ID cards. DXYZ is also conducting pilot projects for facial recognition payment 'FreeiD Pay'※1 and My Number Card integration services※2.
