(Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Takeshi Natsuno) announces that at the massive Niconico event, "Niconico Chokaigi 2026" (held on April 25-26) at Makuhari Messe, Sachiko Kobayashi will appear in the "Cho Niconico Bon Odori" area as "Hanasaka Baasan," the incarnation of cherry blossoms, starting from 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 25th. She will perform live in a new giant costume inspired by cherry blossoms.
Known as the "Last Boss," Sachiko Kobayashi has thrilled users with her innovative performances and powerful live singing, taking on roles from a professional wrestler and heavy metal artist to a "gal" and a god of Niconico Chokaigi. For "Niconico Chokaigi 2026," under the concept "If you move, it will reach," she takes on a new challenge. Having performed numerous cherry blossom-themed songs like 'Koi Sakura,' 'Senbonzakura,' and 'Sakuragami,' Kobayashi will appear with cherry blossoms blooming on her head as the incarnation of cherry blossoms, "Hanasaka Baasan." She will integrate with the Cho Neo Yagura (Super Neo Turret) in the "Cho Niconico Bon Odori" booth, descending in a giant costume that evokes a massive cherry tree. On the day of the event, she will transform the excitement gathered from the attendees and Niconico comments into cherry blossom petals, dyeing the venue in a blizzard of sakura.
