"Last Boss" in Full Bloom: Sachiko Kobayashi, Incarnation of Cherry Blossoms as "Hanasaka Baasan," Descends on Makuhari Messe in a New Giant Costume on April 25

(Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takeshi Natsuno) announces that at the massive "Niconico" event "Niconico Chokaigi 2026" (held April 25-26) at Makuhari Messe, Sachiko Kobayashi will appear in the "Cho Niconico Bon Odori" area at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 25, as "Hanasaka Baasan" (the old woman who makes trees blossom), an incarnation of cherry blossoms, to perform live singing and more in a new giant costume inspired by cherry blossoms.

Known as the "Last Boss," Sachiko Kobayashi has captivated users with innovative performances and overwhelming live singing as a pro wrestler, heavy metal singer, gyaru, and the "God" of Niconico Chokaigi. Under the concept of "If you move, it will reach them." for "Niconico Chokaigi 2026," Kobayashi takes on a new challenge. Having continuously performed numerous cherry blossom-themed songs such as "Koi Sakura," "Senbonzakura," and "Sakuragami," she now appears as "Hanasaka Baasan," an incarnation of cherry blossoms with cherry flowers blooming on her head. She will descend upon the "Cho Niconico Bon Odori" booth by merging with the Cho Neo Yagura (Super Neo Tower), wearing a giant costume styled after a massive cherry tree. On the day of the event, she will transform the heat and enthusiasm gathered from the attendees and Niconico comments into cherry blossom petals, dyeing the venue in a cherry blossom blizzard.
