TOKYO DUB AGENT COMPANY, LTD. (CEO: Kazuyoshi Takagi, hereinafter TDA) is launching new art pieces that fuse the popular fighting manga "Baki-Dou" with Ukiyo-e aesthetics on its e-commerce platform, "AKIHABARA PREMIUM COLLECTION," which specializes in products that combine Akihabara otaku culture with the passion of Japanese craftsmanship.

■ Authentic Hanging Scrolls Crafted by Masters
With a history spanning over 1,000 years, the art of the hanging scroll is preserved by master scroll maker Taishin Sagawa, the third generation of KAKEJIKUYA.
Completed through traditional processes such as mounting, fabric selection, and backing, these are not mere art prints, but authentic hanging scrolls crafted one by one by artisans, possessing the prestige of traditional Japanese crafts.
By intersecting the art styles of the Edo period with modern fighting manga, these are special hanging scroll works that can be called "modern Ukiyo-e."
■ Reconstructing the World of "Baki-Dou" through Ukiyo-e
This visual is based on the Edo-period Ukiyo-e print "Duel of Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki Ganryu on Ganryu Island" by Utagawa Yoshitora.
