From Manufacturing: Toward a Carbon Circulation Model Connecting Sea and City - Acquisition of 'Blue Credits' Derived from Seaweed Beds in Kanagawa

Driven Technologies Inc., a member of the IJTT Group, has purchased 19.7 tons of 'Blue Credits' generated from seaweed beds in Kanagawa Prefecture (Enoshima and Jogashima areas). This initiative aims to build a new model connecting manufacturing activities with marine environment regeneration. The acquired credits will offset CO2 emissions from their business operations and effectively 100% of the emissions from a new office scheduled to open in Yokohama in June 2026. The group is also working on utilizing manufacturing byproducts to help restore seaweed beds, promoting a circular value creation model.
