"N CLI" provides companies with a harness to control the wallet operations of AI agents—a mechanism that incorporates human approval control while maximizing the autonomous action capabilities of AI agents. This enables the execution of secure on-chain transactions.

Background

With the rapid evolution of AI agents, AI agents are increasingly being used as the executing entity in on-chain transactions such as sending tokens, DeFi operations, and NFT manipulations.

However, for companies to entrust asset operations to AI agents, a governance mechanism that records and controls "who" authorized the operation, "within what scope," and "when" is indispensable.

Traditional wallet solutions have primarily focused on GUIs designed for human operation, and interfaces that allow AI agents to issue transactions programmatically while incorporating human supervision have not been well-established.

"N CLI" was developed with the aim of providing such a "harness" for safe operation, placing the action capabilities of AI agents under corporate governance.

"N CLI" Overview

"N CLI" is a Human-in-the-Loop command-line tool that serves as an operational interface to the proven enterprise wallet infrastructure of "N Suite," incorporating a human approval process for transactions issued by AI agents.

It is usable regardless of the agent framework and supports OWS (Open Wallet Standard), ensuring interoperability with the growing Agentic Wallet ecosystem.

Basic Workflow:

1. Request: AI agent applies for transaction execution via "N CLI."

2. Approve: The person in charge confirms and approves or rejects the transaction details on "N Suite."

3. Execute: After approval, the transaction is automatically executed on the blockchain.

This Human-in-the-Loop workflow balances the autonomy of AI agents with human final judgment, enabling operations compliant with corporate governance policies.

Key Features

1. Secure Private Key Protection with MPC (Multi-Party Computation)

The MPC technology adopted by "N Suite" divides private keys into multiple key shares, which are distributed and managed in physically separate environments. The complete private key never exists in a single location at any point in time, making it impossible to recover even if one of the environments is compromised.

Signatures are also generated securely via MPC protocols when AI agents apply for transactions through "N CLI."

Currently, OWS implementations are limited to software-level isolation for key decryption and signing, often completing within the same OS process, posing a risk of key material exposure if process memory is compromised. "N CLI" resolves this issue by leveraging "N Suite's" infrastructure, which separates key shares required for signing into physically isolated multiple environments (including TEE: Trusted Execution Environment).

2. Seamless Integration with Existing "N Suite" Workflows

The "Request → Approve/Sign → Execute" transaction management flow provided by "N Suite" is already implemented in many companies' blockchain operations. "N CLI" is an interface that adds access from AI agents to this flow, integrating seamlessly into existing "N Suite" environments.

Companies can begin AI agent integration while utilizing their existing operational policies and approval systems without needing to build new wallet infrastructure.

3. Gas Fee Burden (Paymaster) Function

Provision of Paymaster functionality based on EIP-7702 and ERC-4337 is planned.

This feature allows gas fees for transaction execution to be paid in stablecoins such as JPYC or USDC, enabling AI agents to perform on-chain operations even if they do not hold native tokens (cryptocurrencies) like ETH.

This provides companies with an environment where AI agents can be operated solely with stablecoins, avoiding the complex accounting and volatility risks associated with cryptocurrencies.

Future Outlook

The Company anticipates a future where AI agents become indispensable for enterprise blockchain utilization and will continue to enhance "N Suite's" AI agent support features.
