[DMM Regional Revitalization] Event Report: 'Miyazaki Hinata Lifestyle Experience Tour' - Discovering Miyazaki's Charm Beyond Tourism

DMM.com LLC (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Innovation Company CEO: Yu Ogata; hereinafter DMM), through its regional revitalization division (DMM Regional Revitalization), held the 'Miyazaki Hinata Lifestyle Experience Tour' from March 7 to March 8. This was part of Miyazaki Prefecture's FY2025 'Miyazaki Connection Creation Promotion Project.'

Background of the Event Since FY2024, DMM Regional Revitalization has been holding 'Meets Miyazaki,' networking events connecting the region with people who have ties to or love Miyazaki, in three cities: Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka. Through these events, they have built relationships with over 320 Miyazaki fans.

This tour was planned for participants who deepened their interest in Miyazaki through the networking events, allowing them to actually visit the area and experience the lifestyle and regional charm. By providing opportunities to experience local life and interact with people, rather than just sightseeing, the goal is to build a more concrete relationship with Miyazaki.

Characteristics of the Tour An itinerary focused on feeling the 'lifestyle' in Miyazaki firsthand, going beyond tourism. - Creation of opportunities to interact with local businesses, residents, and senior migrants. - Programs that allow participants to specifically envision dual-residency or living in Miyazaki. - Operation with a priority on safety in cooperation with Miyazaki Kotsu.

On the first day, under the theme 'Knowing the Fun of Miyazaki,' participants visited tourist spots in Miyazaki City and Nichinan City to experience the region's charm in an easy-to-understand way.

On the second day, under the theme 'Knowing the Lifestyle of Miyazaki,' programs were implemented to experience life in Miyazaki from a perspective not gained through tourism, such as farming experiences, facility tours for dual-residency, and interactions with local businesses.

In addition, in cooperation with Miyazaki Kotsu, operations prioritized participant safety with tour conductors and guides accompanying them, allowing the tour to conclude without any major issues.
