Disney Store Grand Opening at Kyoto Porta on April 28th (Tuesday)! Concept: A Magical Dream World with a "Japanese" Touch in Store Design

Walt Disney Japan Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) will grand open the "Disney Store Kyoto Porta Store" within Kyoto Porta in Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture on April 28th (Tuesday). To commemorate the opening, limited edition store items and gift campaigns will be held.

A Special Store Design Concept: "A Magical Dream World of Disney" Incorporating Kyoto's Unique "Japanese" Elements!

The new store is designed with the concept of a dream world enchanted by Mickey Mouse dressed as "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," incorporating "Japanese" elements throughout. At the entrance, a Mickey Mouse statue adorned with Japanese patterns will welcome guests. You can enjoy shopping in a special space that evokes Kyoto's unique "Japanese" atmosphere, with motifs of cherry blossom petals on the floor and ceiling, as well as Shoji-style decorations.

The store will offer approximately 1,200 Disney and Pixar items, including the Disney Store original characters "UniBEARsity" and "UniBestiez," the plush toy series "Urupocha-chan," lifestyle goods, snacks, apparel, and collaborative products with popular brands, providing a wide variety of items.
