Shirley Kwan, born in '66, a Hong Kong singer/actress with the zodiac sign Leo and Hong Kong name '關淑怡', recorded a demo tape and won the Grand Prix at Japan's 'Marine Blue Song Contest'. She made her Japanese debut through Apollon Music Industries with the bold phrase 'Hideaki Tokunaga's younger sister'. She has established deep-rooted popularity in her home country and is still loved by many people.

This work follows 'Say Goodbye' (1989), a Japanese lyric album that was reissued by Sad Disco (disk union) in 2022 and became a smash hit. This is her second work from her Japan activity period, released in 1990. While the previous album featured all Japanese lyrics and was a girl pop/City Pop work, this album is a more international and 'borderless' work with a mix of English and Japanese lyrics. It is no exaggeration to say that this one album encapsulates the moment her talent blossomed, leading her to reign as the R&B Queen in Hong Kong.
