A legendary girl pop/city pop album from Hong Kong, featuring Japanese vocals, is being reissued in 2026 with the latest remastering on CD and LP!

Shirley Kwan (born 1966), a Hong Kong singer and actress, is a Leo. She recorded a demo tape for the Japanese 'Marine Blue Song Contest,' won the Grand Prix, and made her Japanese debut under Apollon Music Industry with the bold tagline, 'Tokunaga Hideaki's little sister.' She established a strong following in her home country and remains beloved by many today.

This work is her second release during her Japanese activity period, following the 1990 release of 'Say Goodbye' (1989), which was reissued by Sad Disco (disk union) in 2022 and became a smash hit. While the previous work featured all-Japanese lyrics and a girl pop/city pop style, this work is a truly 'borderless' piece with a mix of English and Japanese lyrics and a more international flair. It is no exaggeration to say that this album captures the moment her talent blossomed, leading her to reign as the R&B queen in Hong Kong.

With original CDs trading for around 10,000 yen, it has been difficult to obtain, making this domestic reissue a welcome release. Furthermore, the LP, which was released only in Hong Kong at the time, trades for around 500 USD and is extremely rare. This first domestic LP release comes with a delightful obi strip! Liner notes: Yuji Shibasaki
