New Hit Release! Animation Film 'The Super Mario Bros. Movie' Makes Its CS Television Premiere on Saturday, July 11!

Discovery Japan, Inc., operator of Movie Plus—the largest movie-dedicated channel in Japan—announces the CS television premiere of the animated film 'The Super Mario Bros. Movie,' co-produced by Nintendo and Illumination, on Saturday, July 11.

To commemorate this premiere, starting at 9:00 a.m. on the same day, Movie Plus will launch a special programming block titled 'Feature: Movies Based on Video Games,' showcasing six installments of the 'Resident Evil' film series starring Milla Jovovich, as well as the sea-based action film 'Battleship (2012)' starring Taylor Kitsch and Tadanobu Asano.
