Digital Grid Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter referred to as "the Company") regularly conducts matching through an auction system via the Corporate PPA matching platform "RE Bridge®" to promote the spread of renewable energy. In the 7th auction (February 9, 2026 – March 16, 2026), the number of members, both "generators" and "consumers" of electricity, increased compared to the previous time, reaching a record high. The number of matched transactions was 22, with a total installed capacity of approximately 51MW, and 80% of the matched power plants were solar power facilities installed on farms or rooftops. Going forward, the Company will continue to strive to promote the spread of renewable energy through "RE Bridge®".
Matching Results • Matching with large power plants occurred, and the matching capacity increased compared to the previous time. • Many consumers emphasize hourly matching (※1) due to the revision of international greenhouse gas calculation standards (GHG Protocol), leading to increased needs for diverse power sources such as biomass and geothermal power plants, which have advantages when considering RE100 and hourly matching. ※1 This refers to matching the "generation time slot" with the "renewable energy usage time slot" on an hourly basis. (※2) Some rooftop installations include initial investment support schemes (FIP unit prices fluctuate during the term), so the average FIP unit price is calculated for these cases. (※3) Data from geothermal power plants has also been included in the average, so the figures have changed since the previous auction.
Next Auction Schedule Scheduled for around June 2026.
