GW Special Workshop 'Clay Moves! Stop-Motion Animation Experience' to be Held on May 5th

SKIP City Sai-no-Kuni Visual Plaza (Kawaguchi City) will hold a special workshop on May 5, 2026 (Tuesday, holiday) for Children's Day, featuring clay animation artist Yuichi Ito as instructor. This event commemorates the 'What is Stop-Motion? The Secrets of Stop-Motion Animation' exhibition, which begins on May 2, 2026 (Saturday). The workshop is an experiential program offering a 'highly dense 60 minutes' where children can bring their imagination to life through clay modeling and iPad-based filming.

Instructor Profile: Yuichi Ito, born in 1962, is an animation director. After working at VFX and CG studios, he established I.TOON Ltd. in 1998, where he serves as its head. His representative works include 'Nyacky!', 'HARBORTALE', 'Kyukyutto' commercials, 'Pon de Lion' commercials, and producing 'CLAYTOWN'. He is a director of ASIFA-JAPAN and an auditor of the Japan Animation Association.
