INFORICH Co., Ltd. (Representative Director, President & Executive Officer, Group CEO Hironobu Akiyama (Chen Rihua), Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, TSE Growth Market: Securities Code 9338) has decided to utilize the fund transfer service operated by the Digital Plus Co., Ltd. (Representative Director, President: Seiko Kikuchi, Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, TSE Growth Market: Securities Code 3691) group. The aim is to achieve more frequent remittances and reduce remittance costs for gig worker payments.
This will provide a mechanism for low-cost remittance fees, meeting the needs of workers who desire to receive their remuneration weekly.
Transformation of payment frequency for gig workers repositioning approximately 60,000 CHARGESPOT units nationwide
INFORICH, which operates the mobile battery sharing service “CHARGESPOT™”, handles “imbalance resolution work”—repositioning batteries to areas of high demand—through its independently developed gig worker platform “SPOTJOBS”. While large-scale and high-frequency payments are made daily to numerous gig workers operating nationwide, the traditional remittance scheme has faced challenges such as fees varying by recipient financial institution, cost fluctuations due to fee revisions, increased management man-hours associated with high-frequency and large-volume remittances, and the complexity of management operations. Proportionate to the expansion of business scale, remittance operations had the potential to become a management bottleneck.
To address these challenges, our group aims to optimize remittance costs and reduce remittance man-hours by leveraging our services as a fund transfer service provider.
This service will streamline overall remuneration payment operations in the gig work market through: - Optimization of remittance costs through reduced and standardized per-remittance fees - Reduction of operational burden through centralized management of remittance procedures - Establishment of business flows and API linkages suitable for numerous and high-frequency remittances
* The impact of this matter on our company's performance is minor.
Supporting safe and secure remittances as a fund transfer service provider
This remittance agency service is provided as a “Type 2 Fund Transfer Service Provider” under the supervision of the Financial Services Agency. Under a robust compliance system that adheres to laws and regulations, we achieve safe, secure, and highly reliable fund transfers, allowing customers to use the service with peace of mind. On this highly legal and transparent service foundation, we will significantly reduce remittance-related costs and man-hours.
Expansion of remuneration payment (human resources) domain towards 100 billion JPY in total transaction value
Our group is pursuing initiatives in shareholder benefits, point activities, local government (subsidies), marketing, etc., under the policy of establishing 10 areas with a transaction value of over 10 billion JPY each, aiming for a total transaction value of 100 billion JPY.
Through the introduction of this initiative, we will promote the establishment of the remuneration payment (human resources) domain, starting with payments to gig workers, positioning this domain as one of our new growth drivers, and advancing its development.
