Brand Description

In 1922, Diplomat was founded as a luxury writing instrument manufacturer in Hennef, a town in west-central Germany. The brand name Diplomat, meaning "diplomat," was chosen with the aim of becoming a global brand like diplomats active in various countries. From its inception, it has dedicated itself to pen manufacturing with the fundamental principles of "highest quality" and "precise craftsmanship." In 1958, Diplomat introduced the first cartridge-type fountain pen to the German market, and its name spread, growing into a top-tier brand. In 2008, significant reforms were made to the logo and clip shape, renewing the brand to be more modern and forward-looking while cherishing its traditions. The current logo, called the "ink flower," features ink drops resembling petals.
