Digital Hollywood University (DHU, located in Ochanomizu, Tokyo; President: Naonori Fujii), a MEXT-accredited corporate university offering the Faculty of Digital Communication (a four-year undergraduate program) focused on digital content, planning, and communication, and the Graduate School of Digital Content (a professional graduate school) that bridges theory and practice to create new businesses, will provide venue support and public relations cooperation—including event promotion and audience outreach—for the 'Xingzhi Academy TikTok Shop Campus' to be held from Tuesday, August 12 to Thursday, August 14, 2026, at the Digital Hollywood University campus (Chiyoda City, Tokyo).

This program is organized by Xingzhi Academy Co., Ltd. (located in Shinjuku, Tokyo; Representative: Yang Ge) and is an intensive course aimed at acquiring practical skills in live commerce using TikTok Shop, with Digital Hollywood University providing public relations support. It is a practical, project-based learning (PBL) educational program designed for current DHU students and the general public (including students and working professionals), offering a comprehensive curriculum integrating theory, strategy, and practice.

【Background and Objectives】

Live commerce is rapidly spreading across Asian markets, including China, as a new sales infrastructure. In Japan, the full-scale rollout of TikTok Shop is expected to drive rapid market expansion. Amid this trend, live commerce is gaining attention among students studying digital content and creative fields, as well as business professionals, as a practical means to directly convert their skills and knowledge into business outcomes.

Xingzhi Academy, an educational institution with expertise in China-originated live commerce, actively promotes industry-academia collaboration for cultivating practical talent. Given the strong alignment between DHU’s educational philosophy of bridging theory and practice through SEAD (Science/Engineering/Art/Design) education and Xingzhi Academy’s PBL-based practical education, Digital Hollywood University has agreed to provide public relations support and host the event on its campus.
