smileline Co., Ltd. conducted a survey of 500 men and women regarding the relationship between children's daily habits, such as mouth breathing and posture, and tooth alignment. The results revealed that while about 20% of parents noticed their children had a tendency to breathe through their mouths, mostly during sleep, approximately 58% had never considered that these habits could affect orthodontic outcomes. Furthermore, about 60% of respondents have never consulted a dental clinic about their children's teeth, citing "no particular reason," which highlights a general lack of awareness and indifference among parents toward early preventive dental care.
