Registration Opens for '2026 U-22 DARTS TOURNAMENT': A Gateway to the World Stage

DARTSLIVE Co., Ltd., a SEGA SAMMY Group company, will host the '2026 U-22 DARTS TOURNAMENT' for men and women aged 22 and under on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight (East Halls 2 and 3).

In recent years, the reach of darts has expanded, with an estimated 6.93 million people playing within the past year (as of April 1, 2025). The sport is well-established across various age groups, from beginners to advanced players. In the professional soft-darts tour, 'SOFT DARTS PROFESSIONAL TOUR JAPAN,' the age requirement for licenses and tournament participation was lowered from 18 to 16 starting with the 2026 season, reflecting the growing presence of younger players.

'2026 U-22 DARTS TOURNAMENT' serves as a stage for these young talents. The tournament will be held in two categories: 'OPEN' and 'LADIES.'

This year marks a major step forward. The winner of the OPEN category will be granted an invitation to 'SUPER DARTS 2027,' the premier world stage. SUPER DARTS is the highest-level invitational tournament in the darts world, featuring only the top 16 players globally. With a prize of 10 million yen, it is the largest prize in soft-darts tournaments and is widely followed as the venue to determine the true world champion.

This marks the first time that a pathway from this tournament directly to the world's most prestigious stage has been established.

[Special Entry Stage] Preliminary rounds will be held at 10 locations nationwide for a chance to secure a spot in the OPEN category. Winners will guarantee their entry into the main tournament.
