Daiso Sangyo to Open First 3-Brand Complex Store in Iwate Prefecture on April 24

Daiso Sangyo Co., Ltd., headquartered in Higashihiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, with Yasuji Yano as Representative Director and President, will open a 3-brand complex store in Ezuriko Shopping Center, Kitakami City, Iwate Prefecture, on April 24, 2026 (Friday). This will be the first such store in Iwate Prefecture. The existing DAISO store will be significantly renovated and expanded to about twice its original size, adding "Standard Products by DAISO" and "THREEPPY." As of April 13, 2026, there are 36 DAISO stores, 2 Standard Products stores, and 7 THREEPPY stores in Iwate Prefecture. The new store will have a total sales area of 326 tsubo (approximately 1,077 square meters), with DAISO occupying 190 tsubo (approx. 627 sqm), Standard Products 96 tsubo (approx. 317 sqm), and THREEPPY 40 tsubo (approx. 132 sqm). The store will operate from 10:00 to 20:00 daily, following the shopping center's holiday schedule. An opening promotion offers a Standard Products logo drawstring bag to the first 300 customers spending over 1,100 yen (tax included) from April 24.
