In this partial improvement, common to both models, safety has been enhanced by adding detection functions for crossing bicycles, oncoming vehicles when turning right at intersections, and crossing pedestrians coming from the opposite direction when turning left or right to the preventive safety function 'Smart Assist'*2. Additionally, the 'Atrai' adopts an LCD meter, the 'Active Multi Information Meter', which achieves a simple, sophisticated, and highly visible graphic display*3, enhancing its design appeal.
