Daicel Corporation (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka; President and CEO: Yasuhiro Sakaki) held a presentation and award ceremony at its Tokyo Head Office on March 17, 2026, for students selected for the 'FY2025 Daicel Overseas Challenge Support Program for High School Students.' This program, launched this fiscal year, is a grant-based initiative aimed at nurturing next-generation researchers and co-creating value by supporting middle and high school students who challenge themselves with overseas research presentations and short-term study abroad.

In collaboration with universities under comprehensive partnership agreements, Daicel has been developing research support projects for middle and high school students. These include corporate lectures, plant and laboratory tours, subsidies for research themes proposed by students, interactions with Daicel researchers, and participation in Super Science High School (SSH) presentation sessions. Through these various forms of engagement, the company has pursued value co-creation with the next generation of researchers.

The goal of this presentation was to share the experiences and insights gained by students through the overseas challenge support program and connect them to their next challenges. Active dialogues took place across positions and generations through student presentations, opinion exchanges with Daicel executives and employees involved in research and business development, and interactions in a poster presentation format.

Daicel will continue to actively support young challengers and further promote value co-creation initiatives to realize a 'Lovable Future' together with students, fostering future researchers and business people who will lead next-generation innovation and society.
