D3 Publisher Inc. has announced the release of two horror adventure titles, 'Gakko de atta Kowai Hanashi' and 'Tsukikomori,' for the Nintendo Switch. Originally released in 1995 for the Super Famicom by Banpresto (now Bandai Namco Entertainment), these titles have been beloved across various platforms. These masterpieces of Japanese horror, known for their unique take on ghost stories and psychological terror, are being ported to the Nintendo Switch. Limited editions will also be available. The games are horror adventures where players progress through stories by listening to ghost stories told by characters and making choices. With a multi-ending system, the story changes based on your decisions, creating a tense and immersive experience. The live-action graphics evoke a realistic sense of horror that feels close to everyday life. Features like quick save/load and rewind have been added for a more comfortable experience. These 90s Japanese horror classics are returning to the Nintendo Switch to terrify a new generation. The stories change based on your choices and the order of the storytellers. Depending on your progress, the final scenario changes, and hidden scenarios can be unlocked. You will face unpredictable endings. Sometimes, terrifying events may even happen to you during the story. The games explore the 'Seven Mysteries of the School' and ghost stories told by relatives in the countryside. Limited editions include the game, a newly written novel by Takiya Iijima, and an original soundtrack CD. The release date is September 10, 2026.
