Cygames Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Koichi Watanabe), a company engaged in the planning, development, and operation of games, announced today, June 29 (Mon), the release of a new training scenario titled 'Welcome to Tracen Yatai! ~Repaying My Debt Begins~' for the game 'Uma Musume Pretty Derby' (hereinafter 'Uma Musume'), along with a new commercial (CM).

A different Yutaka, another Yutaka... and Lemaire singing passionately!

The newly released CM, titled 'Rich Flavor,' is themed around ramen, inspired by the new training scenario 'Welcome to Tracen Yatai! ~Repaying My Debt Begins~.'

Jockey Yutaka Take and Christophe Lemaire, now familiar faces in 'Uma Musume' CMs, appear once again. Yutaka Take is seen happily slurping ramen, while various past incarnations of 'Yutaka-san' from previous CMs express the depth and richness of the ramen's flavor within each bite.

Additionally, the CM features a newly recorded song paying homage to the 1992 hit 'Ramen Daisuki Koike-san no Uta' by the popular rock band Sharam Q. The vocals are performed by none other than Christophe Lemaire himself. Don't miss his stylish appearance backed by a groovy live band.

On-Set Report

Filming began with Yutaka Take shooting the opening scene of eating ramen. A self-proclaimed ramen lover, Take enthusiastically dove into the shoot. During the actual take, as he tasted the ramen, he smiled and repeatedly exclaimed, 'Delicious!' while slurping the noodles.

Later, the scene shifted dramatically as Yutaka appeared in the studio dressed as a ramen shop owner. Amidst the studio's excited murmurs at his dignified appearance, he perfectly struck the pose for the CM's title phrase 'Rich Flavor,' holding strainers in both hands with flair.

Lemaire first headed to the recording studio for vocal sessions. Walking in with a light step, he immediately stunned the staff with his powerful voice from the very first note. His voice grew stronger with every take, rapidly elevating the studio's energy and resulting in a final performance that exceeded expectations.

Next, Lemaire moved on to filming the band scenes, portraying all four roles—vocalist, guitarist, keyboardist, and drummer. He flawlessly wore each of the unique and eye-catching outfits, making his entrance into the studio feel like a fashion show runway, drawing cheers and applause from everyone present.

For the final scene, where Lemaire passes through the shop's noren curtain and reacts in surprise to Yutaka's ramen, the tight schedule required smooth, well-timed acting, testing the duo's unspoken chemistry. Yet, with their outstanding teamwork, the scene was successfully captured.

The shoot, where both stars fully showcased their charm, wrapped up smoothly amid a warm and cheerful atmosphere.
