The Local Hub secretariat has announced new participating municipalities for the "GOV Kaigi meetup 2026 in OSAKA KAWACHINAGANO," a public-private co-creation event to be held on Friday, July 10, 2026. This event aims to create opportunities for new business creation and Proof of Concept (PoC) through flat dialogue between local governments and companies. A notable feature this time is the increase in municipalities participating not just for "observation," but for building connections and exchanging information with companies. Municipalities exploring what they can do with private companies across diverse themes such as regional revitalization, childcare support, DX, and PoC will gather. The previous event, "GOV Kaigi meetup in YOKOSUKA," had over 100 participants and recorded a satisfaction rating of 4.3. Participating companies commented that they could hear the "real intentions" of local governments and understand the background behind projects that didn't receive budget approval. For this event, the organizers have further strengthened the interaction design, including expanding dialogue time and establishing a "QA Round." It serves as a place where diverse companies, including IT, marketing, welfare, and startups, can find connections and hints for collaboration with local governments. The event will be held on July 10, 2026, from 13:00 to 18:00 at Lovely Hall (Kawachinagano City, Osaka). Participation is free.
