■ About "FUN EAT MAKERS in Okuma"
It is a place where various people engage in agriculture (making), connect with Okuma through delicious and healthy food (eating), and meet many people. To realize this, the facility consists of three indoor areas: a "high-value-added agricultural production area," an "area to enjoy food," and a "workation stay area where various professionals connect," along with two outdoor areas: a semi-outdoor area "connecting Okuma with diverse people" and an outdoor area "connecting with Okuma's natural scenery."

[Comment from Tsukasa Asai, President of Connect Around]
Since our opening last June, many people, including students, foreign media, prospective farmers, companies, and government officials, have visited us. Mini tomatoes utilizing the intellectual property of coral gravel farming developed by Kazushige Nakabayashi, former Associate Professor at Meiji University, are performing well in both quality and yield, expanding sales inside and outside the prefecture. Bento boxes supervised by a registered dietitian using local ingredients have also expanded their sales channels to 13 prefectures. In the future, we will collaborate with ventures originating in Okuma to implement services combining nutrition management apps and food provision, and use the revenue to promote smart 6th-sector agriculture, contributing to reconstruction and job creation. Through the half-year since opening, I have been strongly encouraged by the townspeople living brightly and positively despite the difficulties of the disaster. We hope you will taste the vegetables of Okuma, which is rich in nature and continually rebirthing, and visit the town.
