Creek & River Co. (C&R Co.) will hold a free online seminar "Mastering the Basics! Easy English Grammar Course Day 3: Let's Connect Words and Sentences! - Tips for Conjunctions-" on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, targeting those who struggle with English or want to learn from the basics. In recent years, globalization has been progressing further in the creative industry, and opportunities to work with overseas creators in production sites and projects are increasing. In such circumstances, many people may have struggled with junior high school English and have a苦手意识 (sense of aversion) to English, or may have forgotten it after being away from English for a long time. C&R Co. is holding a seminar series for such absolute beginners in English. The lecturer will be Mika Kaida, who has over 15 years of experience as an English instructor and extensive experience teaching those who struggle with English. In the third session, she will cover basic conjunctions, which are commonly referred to as "connecting words." In addition to their basic meanings, she will also explain "when English and Japanese patterns don't go smoothly" and "pronunciation tips" that are useful for speaking and listening.
