Background of the Initiative "Hoppe-chan" was a character with explosive popularity, particularly among elementary and junior high school students, during the Heisei era, and still retains a certain level of recognition and fan base. This 100-yen shop expansion is a strategic measure to maximize contact opportunities at a "price anyone can afford" and re-disseminate the IP. As a result of the above activities, products featuring Sun-Hoseki's character "Hoppe-chan" will be sequentially sold in 100-yen shops nationwide, including "Seria" and "Can★Do," through Eikoh Co., Ltd.
