MUFG Bank and MUFG NICOS Launch 20% Cashback Campaign for University Cafeterias Using "Global Point Wallet"

(President & Representative Director Norihiko Kakuta, hereinafter "MUFG NICOS") will run a campaign from June 8 to July 31, 2026, at cafeterias and similar facilities within target universities (some campuses). Using "Global Point Wallet" will result in a 20% rebate (up to 4,000 yen) on the total amount spent during the period, credited to the charge balance. "Global Point Wallet" is a prepaid mobile payment app provided by MUFG NICOS. Users can charge it from bank accounts or credit cards and use it for tap payments at Visa or QUICPay+ (*) merchants nationwide. The target universities for this first phase include Aichi Gakuin University (Meijokoen Campus), Kanagawa University Co-operative Association, Tokai University (Shonan Campus: Bab Restaurant 8, Cafe Lounge 14), Yokkaichi University, Yokkaichi Nursing and Medical Care University, Taisho University (Sugamo Campus), and Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), with plans to expand to more universities and campuses.
