(Headquarters: Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture; President: Shigeki Machida), which operates shopping centers and GMS (General Merchandise Stores) primarily in the Hiroshima area.

Background of Introduction

Izumi sells clothing, household goods, and food products through shopping centers, GMS, and supermarkets, mainly in the Chugoku, Shikoku, and Kyushu regions. It operates diverse formats including the large-scale commercial facility 'Youme Town,' the food supermarket 'Youme Mart,' the neighborhood shopping center 'Youme Mall,' and 'Youme Terrace' as a local community hub, pursuing community-rooted store development.

Previously, Izumi had been accepting event-based pop-up store openings at some facilities through the pop-up store support service 'Shop Counter,' gaining positive feedback and operational confidence. However, the company recognized that moving forward, simply increasing the number of events was insufficient. The more critical theme became creating vibrancy in commercial facilities and generating reasons for customers to visit, ultimately leading to attracting permanent tenants.

Goals with the Introduction of Shop Counter Enterprise

With the introduction of 'Shop Counter Enterprise,' Izumi will focus on strengthening recruitment for permanent spaces and develop an online leasing infrastructure using a dedicated tenant recruitment website. By unifying the flow from disseminating facility and space information to inquiries, negotiations, and contracts, the company aims to elevate the traditionally person-dependent permanent leasing operations to a more reproducible process.

Additionally, Izumi aims to consolidate customer information, negotiation statuses, schedules, and contract management—which tend to be scattered across facilities and personnel—into a single platform, standardizing leasing operations across the organization. This will visualize the entire flow from handling permanent space inquiries to negotiations and contracts, creating a system for smooth operation at each facility.

Initially, information on 30 facilities will be posted for permanent space recruitment, centralizing inquiry reception online. This will create an environment where potential tenants can easily check facility and space information, fostering new touchpoints in permanent leasing.

For event spaces, operations will start at Youme Terrace Gion and Youme Town Kure, which already have operational experience with 'Shop Counter,' and expansion to other facilities will be considered as the operational workflow becomes established.
