Cosmo Health Co., Ltd. Conducts New Graduate Employee Training in Collaboration with 2025 Intercollege Champion Tokyo Healthcare University Women's Basketball Team 'Wizards'

Cosmo Health Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Takafumi Kozuka) held a training session for new graduate employees, commissioning the Tokyo Healthcare University Women's Basketball Team "Wizards".

This training is based on the concept of a "Sports Educational Model," an initiative aimed at developing the "ability to produce results" through sports, and is attracting attention as a new human resource development model connecting education and business.

## [Coach Onzuka's Comment]
In the business scene, practical abilities such as "the ability to refine strategy," "the ability to overcome difficulties," and "the ability to produce results as a team" are required in addition to knowledge and skills.

The Tokyo Healthcare University Women's Basketball Team constructed the "Sports Educational Model" believing these skills are fostered precisely through sports.

This model is an educational program that cultivates the "ability to manage somehow" by thinking and acting proactively toward goal achievement while enjoying sports.

By refining the "ability to manage somehow" and "ability to produce results," a team that seriously aims to win will grow into human resources who can produce results in the business world.

Also, for new employees, peers are not just friends but a "team" that cooperates toward a common goal and enhances each other; this training contributes to building that relationship.

## [President Kozuka's Comment]
Over 90% of Cosmo Health's employees are former athletes or have sports experience. Those who have seriously engaged in sports possess the persistence needed to fulfill dreams and the power to overcome difficulties and setbacks. Above all, they have acquired the "ability to clinch victory in crucial moments." Believing this power is the driving force for achieving results in business, we hire many athletic talents.

Therefore, we agreed to and commissioned this project, believing that understanding the characteristics of human resources who can produce results in business through sports will contribute to the growth of our new graduates.

We also thought that having Coach Onzuka, who has experienced the Olympics twice, speak about the "importance of obsessing over victory in life" would be a great asset to our new employees.
