Shinnihonseiyaku Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukuoka City; Representative Director, President & CEO: Takahiro Goto), in commemoration of the International Day of Forests on March 21, held the 4th 'Keep Our Home Beautiful! Fukuoka Clean-up Operation' together with Avispa Fukuoka, Inc. (Headquarters: Fukuoka City; Representative Director and President: Tsutomu Nishino). This event was held in support of 'Fukuoka Green NEXT,' an initiative by Fukuoka City to create, protect, enjoy, and utilize the forests of Fukuoka.

[Background of the Initiative]
Under our purpose of 'Creating smiles every day with new approaches to beauty and health,' our company engages in various social contribution activities to realize a sustainable future society. With climate change and global warming becoming major social issues, the importance of protecting the forests and natural environments that support our lives is receiving renewed attention. Therefore, in line with the United Nations' 'International Day of Forests' on March 21, we have been holding this event since 2023 as a collaboration between our company—which serves as a uniform sponsor for Avispa Fukuoka—and their social collaboration project 'FUKUOKA TAKE ACTION!'. This initiative aims to draw attention to environmental issues in our home of Fukuoka and serves as a catalyst for beautifying not only the stadium but also our own hearts through cleaning activities. Marking its fourth iteration, this event was held on the actual International Day of Forests, providing a valuable opportunity to further raise environmental awareness among participants.

For the 4th event, participants wore newly designed, event-original work gloves themed after the 'International Day of Forests' to pick up trash around Best Denki Stadium. The original gloves feature a different design each time, incorporating a collectible element to make participation fun. At the opening ceremony, after greetings from Avispa Fukuoka President Nishino and Shinnihonseiyaku Executive Officer Yasaka, Kyushu Pro-Wrestling's wrestler Sasaki and Avispa Fukuoka's official mascots (Avis, Vivy, and Sby) appeared. A total of 190 participants warmed up with squats synchronized to 'trash-picking movements,' energizing the venue. Through this cleanup activity, a total of 270 liters of combustible and non-combustible waste were collected, contributing to the beautification of the local environment. Participants commented, 'I participate every year, and as the event continues, I see more familiar faces, making it a fun place for interaction as well as cleaning,' and 'Through this volunteer cleanup, I felt a real connection with the local community.'
