LOVEBITES & LOUDNESS Confirmed to Perform at "FULL METAL JAPAN 2026 ~Powered by WACKEN~"

The "FULL METAL JAPAN 2026 ~Powered by WACKEN~" festival will be held on October 24 (Sat.) and 25 (Sun.) at PIA ARENA MM in Kanagawa. It has been announced that LOVEBITES will perform on DAY 1 and LOUDNESS on DAY 2.

"FULL METAL JAPAN," which has delighted Japanese metal fans with announcements of numerous legendary bands, will feature two acts befitting the inaugural Japanese event as its final lineup.

LOVEBITES, the pinnacle of Japanese heavy metal, was formed in 2016 and debuted in May 2017. Despite member changes, their popularity has not waned. Their first performance at Nippon Budokan in March of this year sold out. They are also scheduled to perform on the main stage at "WACKEN OPEN AIR" in Germany this July.

LOVEBITES

LOUDNESS is, without question, Japan's leading heavy metal band. In the mid-1980s, their exceptional musicianship and original songwriting stunned rock fans in Europe and America, with US media remarking that Japan had finally conquered music, following Toyota and Sony. Despite misfortunes such as members falling ill, the band continues to be active worldwide with the indomitable rock spirit of guitarist Akira Takasaki, who has carried the banner for 45 years.

"FULL METAL JAPAN 2026 ~Powered by WACKEN~"

"FULL METAL" is a metal festival supported by "Wacken Open Air," the world's largest hard rock/heavy metal festival held annually in Germany. "Wacken Open Air" takes place every summer in the small German village of Wacken. Starting with about 800 attendees in its inaugural year of 1990, it has grown into a world-renowned pilgrimage festival, now attracting over 80,000 metal fans from around the globe. Legendary bands such as Iron Maiden, Helloween, and Megadeth have performed there, and many Japanese bands including Sabbat, MUCC, DIR EN GREY, LOUDNESS, and LOVEBITES have also participated.

"FULL METAL" is also a metal festival organized by "Wacken Open Air." Along with "Full Metal Holiday" held on the Spanish island of Mallorca and the "Full Metal Cruise" that tours Europe, these are all highly popular special events that allow metal fans to fully immerse themselves in metal in extraordinary settings. This marks the first time "FULL METAL" has landed in Asia. It will be held with a reserved seating system, allowing attendees to secure their own seats.

On DAY 2, Japan's pride and joy, "LOUDNESS," will perform! They will deliver a setlist filled with their many classic hits!

Experience two days of a new large-scale hard rock/heavy metal festival inheriting the WACKEN spirit!

MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP: Will perform a best-of setlist with Robin McAuley on vocals.

STRATOVARIUS: The Finnish melodic power metal band will perform a special setlist from the 90s!

RAGE: A special setlist commemorating the 30th anniversary of their masterpieces "BLACK IN MIND" and "END OF ALL DAYS"!

Gus G. & RONNIE ROMERO: Will entertain with a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne and songs by Rainbow.

POWERWOLF: The German power metal band, with overwhelming popularity mainly in Europe, will make their miraculous first visit to Japan!

ANGRA: Kiko Loureiro and Edu Falaschi from the "Rebirth" era will make a special limited comeback for this one-time performance, a super premium live show.

PRETTY MAIDS: A special live performance by Pretty Maids, featuring numerous representative songs such as "Back to Back," "Future World," and the John Sykes classic "Please Don't Leave Me"!

HIBRIA: Yuri Sanson (Vo) and Renato Osorio (G) will make a limited comeback for this day only, performing early songs with the current lineup!
