Pia Corporation has decided to plan, edit, and publish 'Yokohama Mirai Pia,' a free magazine themed on 'the evolution and the future of Yokohama,' with the special cooperation of Yokohama City.
Previously, Pia has published message books as part of regional revitalization efforts contributing to Yokohama's culture and tourism. These books edit information from diverse perspectives on 'what kind of future is being born in this city,' rather than just providing tourist information.
With 'GREEN×EXPO 2027' approaching in 2027, Yokohama is currently in a period of transformation. In the central coastal area of Yokohama, large-scale redevelopment is underway, evolving into a 'multi-layered city' where music, sports, culture, and tourism intersect.
'Yokohama Mirai Pia' introduces the current state of Yokohama's diverse culture, including interviews with key figures, a special feature on GREEN×EXPO 2027, the MUSIC CITY YOKOHAMA initiative, and regional collaborations. It also includes a contribution from the Pia Research Institute titled 'The Social Value Entertainment Brings to Cities.'
Publication Date: Tuesday, June 2, 2026 (Yokohama Port Opening Commemorative Day).
To commemorate the publication, an event will be held at the Yokohama City Hall Atrium on June 2 at 11:30 AM. Details will be announced later.
[Distribution Locations] Yokohama City Hall, stations along the Minatomirai Line, Yokohama Municipal Subway stations (Yokohama, Sakuragicho, Kannai, Shin-Yokohama, Kamiooka), tourist information centers, and commercial facilities within the city.
