Minna no Ginko, Japan's first digital bank, has announced the launch of its 'Cheer Box' and 'Cheer Code' initiatives in collaboration with the Z-Generation Division of Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Designed to be friendly to digital natives, the bank aligns with Kitakyushu's goal of being 'the city that supports young people the most.' Following a successful 2025 campaign that raised 871,407 yen, the bank is continuing the program for the 2026 fiscal year. The 'Cheer Box' program uses the bank's 'Box' savings feature to donate 1% of the balance in designated accounts to the Z-Generation Division. Additionally, new customers using the code 'KitakyuZ' during account opening trigger a 500-yen donation and receive a 500-yen reward. Funds support the 'Z-Generation Hamidase Contest' winners. Furthermore, last year's grand prize winner, Tomoyoshi Kuriyama, has been appointed as the 3rd Minna no Ginko Ambassador.
