Sharp Launches Smart Ring 'Kokoromate Ring'

Sharp will launch its first smart ring, 'Kokoromate Ring' <MH-R01>, on July 9, 2025. By wearing it daily on the finger, users can measure various vital data and support their daily health management.

The device was developed using sensing technology from SOXAI Co., Ltd. (※1). It features four high-precision sensors: 'accelerometer,' 'heart rate,' 'red/infrared for blood oxygen levels,' and 'skin temperature.' It can measure various vital data, activity levels including step count, and sleep status. Measurement results are displayed clearly on the smartphone app 'Kokoromate' as scores and graphs, enabling users to comprehensively understand their daily condition and manage their health.

By subscribing to the paid plan of the 'Kokoromate' app (600 yen/month, tax included), users receive advice supervised by registered dietitians across four aspects—'diet,' 'sleep,' 'exercise,' and 'well-being'—based on measured data and food entries input into the app. This supports improvements in sleep and lifestyle habits.

The device features a lightweight (2.1–3.1g (※2)) and compact (width: 6.7mm, thickness: 2.8mm) design that fits securely on the finger, allowing comfortable all-day wear. The outer ring uses durable titanium material, treated with Duratect coating (※3), and offers high waterproof performance. Additionally, a single charge provides up to 14 days (※4) of continuous operation, reducing charging frequency. It can be used with confidence in various daily scenarios, including housework, bathing, and workouts.
