Launch of 3 New UTM (Unified Threat Management) Models

Sharp is launching three new models of UTM (Unified Threat Management) to comprehensively manage office network security functions. The inspection performance for internet traffic has been improved to approximately 1.7 times that of our previous models (*1), enabling smoother and more secure data communication. These units are equipped with seven types of security measures: Firewall, IPS (Intrusion Prevention System), Antivirus, Antispam, URL Filtering, Application Control, and Antibot. A single unit can address various network threats (*2). The base engine utilizes technology from Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (*3), a leader in the cybersecurity field. Furthermore, the inspection performance for internet traffic has been improved to approximately 1.7 times that of our previous models. Even when many employees are browsing websites simultaneously, the system quickly scans for threats and suppresses network congestion within the company. Additionally, wireless models support Wi-Fi(®)7 (*4). With improved maximum communication speeds and connection stability, the units realize smoother and highly secure data communication. The security system updates automatically to the latest version, addressing cyberattacks such as increasingly sophisticated viruses and phishing scams. In addition, we provide a monthly report service via email detailing detected and blocked threats, as well as the usage status of high-risk applications. By making it easier to grasp network status and potential risks, security can be easily strengthened even in small and medium-sized enterprises or SOHO environments without dedicated IT administrators. ■ Main Features 1.
