WingArc1st Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Jun Tanaka; hereinafter 'WingArc') and Cybertrust Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Yuji Kitamura; hereinafter 'Cybertrust') have agreed to collaborate on promoting the domestic adoption of 'trust services' (Note 1), such as e-seals and electronic signatures, and on building a digital trust infrastructure compatible with the AI era. Through this collaboration, the companies will technically guarantee the authenticity of various digital documents generated in business transactions, preventing impersonation and tampering. This ensures secure data distribution, which is a prerequisite for AI-driven automated analysis and data processing. Both companies aim to achieve both legal reliability and operational efficiency in the complete paperless transition of B2B transactions, contributing to the realization of an advanced data-utilization society by building a trust infrastructure that complies with global standards. [Background of Collaboration] While the digitalization of B2B transactions and DX are accelerating, business automation using AI, including generative AI, is advancing rapidly. In an era where AI processes vast amounts of data at high speeds and makes autonomous decisions, technically proving data authenticity and preventing tampering are essential conditions for the safe use of AI. Furthermore, in March 2025, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications will establish regulations for the certification of e-seal services, and preparations are underway for the operation of a certification system for authorities issuing e-seal certificates. [Initiatives] WingArc provides the 'Trustee Timestamp' service and digital document platforms. Cybertrust provides the 'iTrust Remote Signature Service' and 'iTrust e-seal certificates.' The companies will combine their technologies to promote a digital trust infrastructure that balances 'safe data handling' and 'advanced automation.' Specifically, they aim to develop a service that grants e-seals to digital documents issued from WingArc's platform using Cybertrust's certificates. [Future Outlook] The companies will integrate WingArc's 'SVF' platform and trust-related products with Cybertrust's 'iTrust' services. The new service is scheduled to be provided by WingArc in the summer of 2026. (Note 1) Trust services: Mechanisms that prove the authenticity of people, organizations, and data online using electronic signatures, timestamps, and e-seals to prevent tampering and impersonation.
