UMITO and JAL Sign Capital and Business Tie-up Agreement on April 7, 2026

UMITO Inc. and Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (JAL) have entered into a capital and business tie-up agreement as of April 7, 2026, with UMITO issuing new shares to JAL through a third-party allotment. Through this partnership, the companies will offer new lifestyle propositions using JAL miles for purchasing and staying at UMITO's 'shared villas' to approximately 40 million JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) members. The service will begin sequentially from early May 2026. Members can earn 5,000 miles for attending a web explanatory meeting and 10,000 miles for an in-person meeting. Purchasing a shared villa membership earns 100 miles per 10,000 yen of the base price. Miles can also be used for luxury stays at UMITO properties.
