TENTIAL, which continues to expand its product range in the sleep domain, primarily with recovery wear that has surpassed a cumulative sales of 1.5 million sets*1, has focused on the importance of sleep with air conditioning in the context of recent intense heatwaves.

The newly released summer comforter series adopts a unique design that approaches the ideal bedding environment for sleep, "temperature 33±1℃ and humidity 50±5%," as advocated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. By using "THERMO FLEX®," which incorporates temperature-regulating material (PCM) into the filling, it provides coolness when hot and appropriate warmth when cooled by air conditioning.

The lineup offers two types to choose from according to needs. The "BAKUNE Comforter Cool" features a contact-cooling material on the outer fabric, balancing a refreshing feel that quickly dissipates heat during sleep on tropical nights with temperature and humidity control functions to maintain the bedding environment. The "BAKUNE Comforter Organic Cotton" was developed based on customer feedback desiring specific materials that touch the skin. It uses 100% organic cotton double gauze on the skin-contacting surface, characterized by a natural and soft texture that gently protects the body from the cold air of air conditioning.

Both can be machine-washed at home and are equipped with antibacterial, deodorizing, and anti-mite functions. Furthermore, a dedicated storage bag that can also be used as a laundry net is included, supporting summer conditioning*2 from multiple angles.

【Company Verification Results】

In verification conducted by the company, a tendency for lower humidity inside the bedding was confirmed compared to general polyester summer bedding. Furthermore, in evaluations using the VAS method, a difference in the reduction rate of fatigue from a night's sleep was also observed.

Additionally, the combined use of the comforter and a fitted sheet resulted in an environment that was less prone to getting cold or hot, and more easily adjusted to the surroundings.
