A survey was conducted by Oshicoco from April 6-8, 2026, targeting 'Oshikatsu' (fandom activity) participants who follow 'Oshicoco' on Instagram, with 664 valid responses. The survey aimed to investigate the consumption behavior related to 'Ensei' (traveling for fandom events). Over 60% of respondents reported having 'Ensei' experience. The most frequent travel pattern was 2-3 times per year (34.7%), followed by once a year (22.1%) and 4-5 times a year (21.1%). Approximately 19% travel 10 or more times annually. The average expenditure per 'Ensei' trip was calculated to be approximately 59,000 JPY, with 33.7% spending between 30,000-50,000 JPY. A significant portion, about 10%, spent over 100,000 JPY per trip. The largest cost component was transportation (53.7%), followed by goods/merchandise (30.5%) and accommodation (9.5%). Beyond fandom activities, 60.0% of travelers enjoyed local gourmet food, 37.9% visited tourist spots, 37.9% went shopping, and 35.8% engaged in 'pilgrimage' (visiting fandom-related locations). This indicates that 'Ensei' contributes significantly to regional consumption and tourism, particularly in major metropolitan areas like Tokyo, Kanagawa, Osaka, and Aichi.
