Freee Inc. has released survey data on AI utilization and career views among 663 young employees (1-3 years post-graduation) nationwide. The survey found that 69.8% believe AI proficiency will affect their income and market value in five years, and 74.5% are attracted to companies that actively utilize and recommend AI. Nearly half (45.2%) stated they would include 'AI utilization recommended companies' as a condition when considering future job changes. Furthermore, 46% indicated that insufficient AI utilization at their current workplace would be a major reason for seeking new employment, with 77.1% indicating it would have some influence. Freee has also been promoting AI adoption internally, aiming to become an 'AI-native company' from 2025, with initiatives like monthly AI onboarding for all employees. Internally, their AI chatbot has halved inquiries to general affairs, saving approximately 991 business hours annually. In sales and marketing, AI summarizes meetings, inputs data into CRM, and even determines negotiation stages, reducing post-meeting processing time by 45.2% and post-call processing time by 56.2%, increasing customer communication time by 21.7 percentage points. For these efforts, freee received the 'AI Transformation Award' at Forbes JAPAN NEW SALES OF THE YEAR 2025. The company is also planning AI training for new graduates joining in April 2026. The survey was conducted online from March 13-15, 2026, with 663 respondents.
