[ SECOM x eiicon ] 4 Co-creation Partners Selected! SECOM Open Lab 'SECOM Acceleration Program 2026'

eiicon, Inc. (Headquarters: Toranomon, Minato-ku; Representative Director & President: Ayuko Nakamura; hereafter 'eiicon'), operator of Japan's largest open innovation platform 'AUBA', together with SECOM Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Jingumae, Shibuya-ku; Representative Director & President: Yasuyuki Yoshida; hereafter 'SECOM'), hosted the co-creation program 'SECOM Open Lab: SECOM Acceleration Program 2026' (hereafter 'the Program'). Seeking to create new experiences utilizing SECOM's solutions, the program began recruiting co-creation partners last December under the theme of 'Updating Security Services'. Out of 75 proposals received, 7 passed a rigorous screening process to participate in a pitch competition held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Following final selections, we are pleased to announce the adoption of 4 companies as co-creation partners aimed at creating new experiences using SECOM's solutions.

From December 17, 2025, to February 27, 2026, entries were accepted under four themes centered on 'Updating Security Services': (1) 'Proactive' Security (2) SECOM Home Security x Well-being (3) Sustainable Security Service Mechanisms in Regional Areas (4) Core Technologies for Next-Generation Drones

Out of 75 total applications, 7 proposals passed rigorous document and interview screenings to gather for a pitch competition held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Through subsequent final selections, 4 co-creation partner companies were chosen.
