CMDM Celebrates 3rd Anniversary with a Sold-Out 90-Minute Live in Japan! Emotional Surprises and Powerful Dance Stages

On Sunday, April 26, 2026, the Korean boy group CMDM (CMDM) held 'CMDM Live In Japan 2026 – Chain & Link – FREE LIVE & 3rd Anniversary Celebration' in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Despite the early opening time on a Sunday morning, the venue was packed to capacity with many standing-room-only fans. The special stage celebrating their 3rd anniversary became an enthusiastic celebration.

Powerful Dance Stages and Smiles with 'CMDM Original Rules' The live opened with a series of high-energy performance songs, overwhelming the audience with perfectly synchronized choreography and power. Conversely, during the MC segments, the members' friendly personalities shone through. A special project featured a random gift for all attendees—a 'hand-made item by a member'—given to the final winner of a rock-paper-scissors game.

The venue erupted with laughter and cheers due to CMDM's unique rule: 'The person who draws (Aiko) wins.' This unexpected twist created a warm atmosphere where members and fans enjoyed the moment together. The members conducted all greetings and talks in Japanese, which they have been studying diligently without any interpreters, successfully conveying their heartfelt feelings even to first-time attendees.

Vocal Prowess in the Middle Set and Close Proximity to Fans In the middle of the show, the atmosphere shifted to catchy pop songs. Beyond intense dancing, they showcased each member's high vocal ability and the 'chemistry' of their overlapping harmonies.

For the encore, the energy reached its peak with bright and cute numbers. All members descended from the stage to the audience area, making eye contact and expressing gratitude to each fan individually, filling the venue with smiles and cheers.

Tearful Surprises and the Finale with Their Promised Debut Song Near the end of the live, a surprise movie created from photos and videos submitted by fans was shown on the screen. The members were visibly moved by the unexpected gift, shedding tears as they reflected on their 3-year journey and gratitude toward fans. In the moving atmosphere, they expressed their sincere feelings, saying, 'Please stay with us forever.'

The concert concluded with 'Already go ready,' their debut song and the top fan-requested track. As CMDM's origin and most beloved number, it brought the heat to its peak, ending the 90-minute stage that reaffirmed the strong bond between CMDM and their fans.
