Solafune's Research and Analysis Results Featured in National Institute for Defense Studies (NIDS) "NIDS Perspective"

Solafune Inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, hereinafter "the Company") announces that insights and data based on its conducted research and analysis have been published in "NIDS Perspective," a research book series issued domestically and internationally by the National Institute for Defense Studies (NIDS) of the Ministry of Defense, Japan's sole national academic research institution for security, specifically in the volume titled "The Indo-Pacific at a Crossroads: Revival of Bloc Confrontation or Diversification of Competition?"

About the Publication

The research related to this publication aimed to grasp the perceptions of private experts in Japan and the United States regarding the international relations and security environment surrounding the Indo-Pacific region, and to collect and organize information and data on their trends and key issues. This study analyzes complex situations, including heightened tensions in U.S.-China relations, realignment of alliances and partnerships, and the expansion of security challenges across new domains.

Our Initiatives

In this initiative, the Company conducted surveys in the security fields of Japan and the United States, collecting diverse data and information on security in the Indo-Pacific region. Furthermore, we analyzed the collected information and data and systematically compiled them into a report. These findings are included as reference information within the research book and are utilized as an aid to analysis.

This publication confirms that our expertise in survey design, data collection capabilities, and analysis/reporting is useful even in advanced research areas within the security field.
