The expression education program "Expression Education CAMP" provided by the specified nonprofit corporation Common Beat (Location: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Directors: Ryo Adachi, Yuki Kawamura; hereinafter "Common Beat") has been officially adopted for the freshman training camp at Fukuoka Girls' Commercial High School, Yashima Gakuen Educational Corporation (Location: Nakagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture; Former Principal: Shota Shibayama). The freshman training camp will be held for three days from Wednesday, April 22 to Friday, April 24.

Background of Introduction In the guidelines for "Period for Integrated Studies" issued by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in March 2023, the development of the "ability to survive vigorously in the future" is required amid the progress of informatization and globalization, as well as unpredictable social changes. What is emphasized in this context is "the ability to think for oneself about what kind of future to create while working one's sensibilities richly." (Reference: MEXT March 2023 "Developing the Period for Integrated Studies to Enhance Required Abilities")

In addition, at Fukuoka Girls' Commercial High School, under former Principal Shota Shibayama, the school has been promoting the creation of an environment where students can take on challenges without fear of failure in a rapidly changing society. While valuing a sense of excitement, they actively connect with the local community and society and incorporate encounters with adults outside the school.

However, in facing the question of whether "students are truly able to express themselves with peace of mind," they felt the need for initiatives that foster psychological safety experientially. Therefore, the expression education program "Expression Education CAMP" was adopted and will be implemented at the freshman training camp for three days from Wednesday, April 22 to Friday, April 24, 2026.
